On November 20, timelesz will release their new single, “because.” The song serves as the theme song for group member Fuma Kikuchi‘s new TV Asahi drama “Watashitachi ga Koisuru Riyu.” It also is the final timelesz release as a trio, given that the group is currently looking for new members on its Netflix series “timelesz project -AUDITION-.”
“because” is a long song that parallels the drama’s central love story, but also timelesz’s love for their fans. Fuma wrote the song’s lyrics after a discussion with his groupmates, who also played roles in this single’s creation. Sou Matsushima created the choreography for the song, while Shori Sato was involved in the production for the song’s music video.
Speaking of the music video, it was recently released! It was shot entirely in Tokyo, and features the members of timelesz in a relaxed and natural state.
