Mari Hamada to hold a special YouTube Live commemorating her 40th anniversary and new album

It has been revealed that for the first time “Queen of Heavy Metal” Mari Hamada will hold a live broadcast on YouTube on April 20 at 8 PM JST, the day before her 40th anniversary. The live broadcast will consist of a talk with music writer Yuichi Masuda, centering on topics related to the new album “Soar”, which is scheduled to be released on April 19. There will also be a Q&A session with fans.

Mari Hamada debuted on April 21, 1983 with the album “LUNATIC DOLL ~Assassination Warning”. Since then she has established herself as a full-fledged rock vocalist, and has released 25 singles and 23 studio albums. In conjunction with her 40th anniversary, Universal Music Japan has been releasing her past music videos on their official YouTube channel.
