Johnnys’ Island Changes Name to Annex

The rebranding process at the company founded by Johnny Kitagawa to erase traces of him from the company continues. Johnnys’ Island, the company in charge of the company’s trainees, has been renamed “Annex.”

There are also other name changes to announce within the company. Johnny’s Music Company is now “Groove Music Company”, J-Station is now “NEXTPART”, Johnny’s Publishing is now “Bright Note Music”, and J-Base is now “Merch Company.”

The label J-Storm is now “Storm Labels.”

From January 1, the “Johnny’s / Johnnys'” and “J” branding will no longer be used.

The fan-selected name of the new managament company that replaces Johnny & Associates has yet to be revealed.
