Japan Weekend Box Office 09/08 – 09/10. ‘City Hunter the Movie: Angel Dust’ debuts in 1st place

The weekend movie box office ranking from September 8 to September 10 has been released and Japan has a new number one movie. “City Hunter the Movie: Angel Dust” based off the popular manga by Tsukasa Hojo attracted 211,000 moviegoers and earned 325 million yen at the box office, making it number one on its debut weekend. Other newly released films in Japan that ranked within the top 10 include “The Forbidden Play” a horror movie starring Daiki Shigeoka of Johnny’s West and Kanna Hashimoto.
