On April 17th, the family of former M!LK idol and actor Itagaki Mizuki reported that the celebrity had passed away in an unfortunate accident.
Since last year, the idol turned actor had been suffering from unspecified mental health issues, and withdrew from entertainment activities. In January of last year, he was hospitalized for said issues, and had suddenly parted ways with his agency, Stardust, in 2024. The family also disclosed that he had been missing since January of 2025.
The family had contacted police since he went missing, and it was only unfortunately after he had passed away that they had found his body in Tokyo.
The storied actor was not just a member of highly successful group M!LK, but had also appeared in a number of dramas such as NHK Taiga series Hana Moyu and Kirin ga Kuru.
