Extra Tickets to Travis Japan’s National Cherry Blossom Festival Performance Released

On March 25, Travis Japan will perform at The National Cherry Blossom Festival Opening Ceremony in Washington. D.C., and we here at Nante Japan, in conjunction with Johnny & Associates and the Japan Foundation, have 125 tickets to give away to their fans!

Tickets can be purchased through their website, using the password TRAVISJAPAN. Tickets are free with a $5.15 processing fee per ticket. Please note that the ticket limit is two per order.

Once the 125 tickets are sold out, fans can still catch the livestream of the event on The National Cherry Blossom Festival’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@cherryblossfest. We encourage fans to subscribe and add the event to their calendar to get a reminder to watch. There may be limited additional tickets at the door the day of the event, but the ability to get in is based on availability and is not guaranteed.

In related news, Travis Japan member Genta “G” Matsuda‘s film “The Blue Skies at Your Feet” (“Kimi ga Otoshita Aozora”) is being screened virtually for one weekend only, March 17 – 20, by the Embassy of Japan’s Japan Information & Culture Center. Free ticket registration starts HERE at 11 AM EST on March 12, and is limited to 300 US-based viewers. The screening period for “The Blue Skies at Your Feet” is March 17 at 7 PM EST through March 20 at 7 PM EST. Each viewer will have 24 hours to finish watching the film.

Of the virtual screening, Genta said, “I’m so happy that people in America also have the chance to see the movie and talk about it with others! The love and support of all our fans makes me more positive and each day wonderful!”
