CHANMINA to Headline “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024”

On April 19 – 21, “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024” will be held at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza. This year marks the event’s 30th anniversary, and has the theme of “Don’t give up til things change,” alluding to the continuing fight for LGBTQ rights.

It has been revealed that Warner Music Japan will be participating in the event for the first time. By taking part in “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024”, the label intends to share its artists and their music with the LGBTQ community, and help further the goal of creating a world where everyone is free to be who they want to be. It has been decided that one of Warner Music Japan’s artists, CHANMINA, will headline the event on the Pride Stage.

Warner Music Japan will also have a booth at the event where they will promote one of their foreign artist, Dua Lipa. She is set to release her new album “Radical Optimism” on May 8, and attendees will be able to take a photo recreating the album’s cover. Limited edition “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024” trading cards will also be available at the event.

On the final day of “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024”, volunteer employees from the label will take part in main event, the Pride Parade, which will wind its way through the streets of Shibuya and Harajuku.
