Agency Baru has announced that they have terminated their contract with popular voice actor Ikeda Junya after it was revealed that he had been arrested on suspicion of fraud. They terminated the contract on the 27th of October, with the news announced on the 30th.
They apologized for the delay in the announcement, as due to the circumstances of the case have been prohibited from contacting the voice actor since the agency had learned of the news and therefore are unaware of any of the facts of the matter outside of what has been revealed to the public.
He made his debut after winning the JUNON Special Boys Contest in 2006, and made his first foray into the mainstream after his role in the 2011 movie Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. His major anime roles include Tenma Mitsuru in Ensemble Stars!! and Suruga Ataru in Majestic Prince.
