With a legacy of over 110 years, the Takarazuka theater troupe has adaptations perhaps down to a science, picking wonderful works ranging from The Great Gatsby to HiGH&LOW-THE PREQUEL- (based on the Japanese action media franchise centered around Exile Tribe).
For the 110th anniversary year, the Star Troupe, led by Makoto Rei, announced that they would be performing none other than the smash Indian hit movie, RRR.Â
Starting January 1st 2024, fans can watch (first in Hyogo and later in Tokyo) as this beloved group takes on a modern Indian phenomenon.
Fans were delighted as the promotional images hit social media. The general public can apply for tickets starting December 9th.
