SKY-HI and his group BE:FIRST are now members of the Recording Academy, the institution that organizes The Grammys.
The Recording Academy selects new members through a rigorous selection process conducted by active music professionals. SKY-HI and BE:FIRST were chosen based on their past production work, artistic achievements, and musicality. Being members of the Recording Academy means that they now have the right to vote and attend the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 7, 2027. They will have this right from here on out.
