Ninomiya Kazunari to Go Independent for Future Solo Activities, Will Remain a Member of ARASHI

Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari has announced that he will be going independent from the agency formerly known as Johnny’s & Associates to go solo, with the only remaining contract tying him to the agency for group activities with Arashi.

In a statement to the press, he announced that as of October 24th, he was going independent from the company for all his solo activities including commercials, variety shows and movies. He said that this was in response to the fact that after the press conference, where he felt anxiety and fear over what would happen next, to the point where it started to affect his individual activities as a talent.

However, he still wanted to remain part of Arashi, saying “Even starting from tomorrow, I will still be part of Arashi. When we reform, I will resume my activities as a member of the group”.
