MUSIC MAGAZINE Names the 100 Best JPop Songs of the 2010s

Hot on the heels of its August issue’s “2000s JPop Best Songs 100”, MUSIC MAGAZINE is back with another ranking in its September issue. This new ranking is titled “2010s JPop Best Songs 100.” Friend of Nante Japan Patrick St. Michel has revealed the full list on his Substack, Make Believe Mailer.

Coming in at #1 is Suchmos‘ “STAY TUNE”, from 2016.

It is followed by tofubeats and Onomatope Daijin‘s “Suisei”, from 2011.

Rounding out the top three is Hoshino Gen‘s “Koi”, also from 2016.

The full list can be found here. Also, subscribe to Patrick’s Substack, which is another great source of Japanese music coverage in English.
