Japan Weekend Box Office 12/15 – 12/17. Disney’s “Wish” is the number one movie in Japan

Last week the new Warner Bros. film “Wonka” debuted in first place on its first weekend in theaters in Japan. For the days of December 15 to December 17, another foreign film has debuted in first place for the second consecutive weekend. Disney’s “Wish” attracted 434,000 moviegoers and recorded box office revenue of 612 million yen ending the weekend on top of the box office ranking. Other new films that premiered in Japan and debuted within the top 10 include “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie” and “The Imaginary.”
