On August 26, Nishino Kana will release her new EP, “Power of Love.”
The title track serves as the opening theme for the second season of the NTV anime series “Honzuki no Gekokujo Ryoshu no Yojo.” Of the song, Kana said, “It’s a song that depicts the moment when feelings for someone important turn into strength.”
“Power of Love” will also include the new song “Futari de Iyou.” It’s a ballad about the preciousness of spending everyday life with a loved one. On the song, Kana’s emotionally rich vocals shine over piano and strings.
Kana has released a new photo to accompany the release of her new EP. In it, she is seen wearing a straw boater hat, a fashion item that was popular around 2010 and became one of Kana’s signature pieces. Many fans at the time wore the hat to imitate her.
