Japan Weekend Box Office 04/21 – 04/23

The weekend movie box office ranking from April 21 to April 23 has been released and “Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine” was able to keep its top spot for 2 consecutive weeks with 1,113,000 moviegoers and a box office revenue of 1,615 million yen. In total, it has already exceeded 4.07 million moviegoers and 5.8 billion yen in box office revenue. Newly released films that were able to rank within the top 10 are “Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween – Destiny” and “Village.” 

 

Based on the manga and anime of the same name “Tokyo Revengers”, sequel film “Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween – Destiny” was able to collect 428,000 moviegoers and a box office revenue of 583 million yen in its first weekend.
