On October 12th, HKT48 member Tanaka Miku announced that she would be graduating from the group.

Having been in the group for over 10 years, the member, who originally jumped in popularity as part of the “NakoMiku” combo (when paired with fellow member Yabuki Nako), the member had slowly been giving hints as to her upcoming graduation. In her speech at the theater stage, she mentioned thinking that after both Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako had come back, there was little remaining for her to do within the group itself, and that the 10 year mark felt appropriate to announce her departure.
Her final graduation stage will be on December 29th, with a concert expected to be held in spring of 2024. She will participate in all events through December 29th 2023, after which her obligations as an HKT48 member will end. More details will be announced in the coming days.
