After previously being a rumor, It has been revealed through the official website that Hiromitsu Kitayama will leave the group Kis-My-Ft2 on August 31st and will be leaving Johnny & Associates as well.
In the statement Kitayama said, “I’ve been in the entertainment industry for 21 years now, and in an era where the world is changing rapidly, I’ve come to think that I’d like to take on many more challenges and start my second life. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the members who made my dreams come true, J&A who gave me a lot of support, and everyone I met along the way. I would like to do my best in the future so that I can be even more grateful and bring smiles to as many people as possible.”
Kis-My-Ft2 have previously announced a new single, “Together”, which will be released this summer.
