Hey! Say! JUMP Announces They Will Take Down All YouTube Clips of Ultra Music Power

Following the statement yesterday that they were no longer going to sing their debut song, Ultra Music PowerHey! Say! JUMP has announced today through their fan club that they will give fans until the 16th in Japan Time to watch their favorite YouTube performances of Ultra Music Power before they are taken down forever.

Yesterday, they had told members that as a collective they had decided as a group to no longer perform the song going forward. After speaking about it as a group and with staff, they have also decided to take down any related performances of the song on their YouTube channel.

Their debut song, which was released in 2007, has lyrics with references to the word Johnny’s thereby prompting this decision.
