Hatanaka Tasuku Announces 8th Single, Good Luck

Prolific seiyuu and artist Hatanaka Tatsuku has announced his 8th single, titled Good Luck. The lead track will be used as the ending theme for upcoming anime Overtake!, where Hatanaka plays the role of Komaki Kotaro.

The coupling tracks will be Psycho, which is the theme song for the film Kazoku to Iu Yamai (The Disease Called Family) and the 5th anniversary commemorative song for the game series Ikemen Vampire titled Endless Love.

Commenting on the upcoming release, Hatanaka said

This is Hatanaka Tatsuku! I’ve been given the honor of doing the ending theme song for the upcoming anime Overtake!

I tried to encapsulate the mood of the work in not just my seiyuu role, but in this song as well. Please look forward to both the anime and the song!

The anime series Overtake! is produced by KADOKAWA and animated by Idolish7 studio TROYCA focused on the motor sport formula 4 (F4).

Hatanaka Tasuku first debuted in 2006 when he passed the audition for the dubbing role for Edmund Pevensie in the 2006 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Since then he has appeared in a number of major roles including Tsukumo Yuma in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZexalKaminari Denki in My Hero AcademiaLupin in LUPIN ZERO and Kyan Reki in SK∞ エスケーエイト (read as SK eight). He released his first single in 2017 with STAND UP.
