Earlier today, the 42nd edition of the “Best Jeanist” awards were held at Tokyo International Forum.
Ren Meguro of Snow Man and Imada Mio were chosen as the winners of the General Selection award. This is Ren’s second consecutive win. Upon winning, he said that his love for denim has grown since winning last year, and that he has wore jeans about 350 days of the past year, with plans to wear jeans even more after this new win.
HANA was awarded one of the Council Selection awards due to their single “Blue Jeans.” The group’s belief in being true to oneself also mirrors the spirit of the awards.
