Arashi to Disband

Seconds ago, Arashi announced that they will disband next year.

In a post on Twitter, the group, which has been on hiatus since January 1, 2021, apologized to fans for not being able to perform for them in their final year before hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To remedy this, Arashi will reunite for a concert tour next spring. After this tour ends, so will Arashi.

About a year and a half ago, the five members of Arashi came together to discuss resuming activities. After much discussion, they realized that the world around them had changed, as had their individual lives. It was not an easy decision to make, but they decided it would be best to end activities as Arashi.

Before Arashi concludes, the members decided to thank their fans by performing live for them on one final tour, something they couldn’t do because of the pandemic in 2020.

Arashi is temporarily suspending new fan club membership applications so that current fan club members can apply first for next year’s tour. The tour is currently in the planning stages, and not much can be said about it at this time.

With Arashi’s end next year, their fan club will close in May 2026. Until then, they plan to deliver as much content to their fan club as possible, and hope that the fans enjoy it. The next content will be available in mid-June.

Arashi ended the message by saying they will reunite as five and deliver content that will please their fans as a gesture of gratitude for their support over the decades.
