Ado Becomes First Female Soloist To Hold Solo Performance At Japan National Stadium

In a shocking but rather expected announcement, artist and current empress of J-pop Ado has announced that in April 2024 she will perform at the legendary Japan National Stadium (known as Kokuritsu Kyogijo).

The artist who broke out with the hit song Usseewa, it has been a mere 3 years since her major debut in October 2020, with her first live performance at Zepp DiverCity in April 2022.

Only a handful of performers have ever done Kokuritsu as a solo concert. Previous acts include SMAPDREAM COMES TRUEArashi, Momorio Clover Z, Yazawa Eikichi and L’Arc~en~Ciel. This would make Ado the first female soloist to ever sell the venue on her own and the eighth act overall to do so.
