As previously announced the MBS variety show featuring the Kansai Johnny’s Jr. group Ae! group was reconsidering their name in light of recent events.
Today, they have announced that the new name for the variety show would be none other than Ae!!!!! Iko, using an older variant of the vowel i, which originally would sit between wa and the archaic form of e.
The name is a reflection of the fact that the TV program is a collaborative effort between the comedian duo Yoiko and Johnny’s Jr group Ae! group. Further details will be announced on the 21st.
