Former AKB48 member Akimoto Sayaka announced June of 2020 that she had married rapper PUNPEE. Today, she updated her Instagram to announce the birth of her first child!
In the text she wrote
This is a personal announcement, but yesterday, I gave birth to my first child. I would like to taste these days to fully savor being a new family. I will take the time to fully recover and rest as well as ensure the health of my child before returning back to work.
I apologize so much for causing you concern, and ask for your patience as we take this time. Thank you so much for supporting me in my career.
In the Instagram blurb, she also wrote about how excited she was to experience all these wonderful changes in her life.
