On January 28, his birthday, Hoshino Gen released his new digital single, “Eureka.” The song serves as the theme song for the TBS drama “Madoka 26 Sai, Kenshuui Yattemasu.”
The music video for “Eureka” has now been released. The video was directed by Kawashima Kotori, who also shot this release’s album art, as well as Gen’s new artist photo. The video consists of footage that was filmed over the course of several weeks, to show the slow passage of time. Footage of Gen in the studio producing the song appears in the video. Nakano Taiga, a friend of Gen’s for a decade and close friend of Kotori, also makes a cameo in the video. Check it out below!
