STARTO ENTERTAINMENT has announced that it will take legal action against articles and posts that allege that Arashi member Satoshi Ohno uses marijuana.
In a statement, the company strongly denied that Satoshi uses marijuana, rumors that are mainly circulating online. “There is no evidence that Ohno has violated the Cannabis Control Act, nor that he has been arrested,” the statement read.
STARTO ENTERTAINMENT says that it is left with no choice but to pursue legal action, seeing as how these false, malicious articles and posts are being spread as if they are true. It is the job of the company to protect its talent against things that affect their social standing, with drugs being a major knock on the status of a talent.
