Tonight, KAT-TUN‘s Kazuya Kamenashi held a solo concert, “Inside 23 experiment No.0/No.B”, at Billboard Live TOKYO. He was joined on stage by a surprise guest: Tomohisa Yamashita.
Halfway through the performance, Tomohisa appeared on stage, carrying out a birthday cake. “Is this the first time in four years for us? Standing on the same stage.”
During their ensuing conversation, Tomohisa revealed that the two first met when he was 13. “I was 12!” Kazuya exclaimed. “That’s amazing. We’ve known each other for 25 years. Over there course of my career, there aren’t many people that I can work with at this level.”
Tomohisa replied with emotion, saying “I have friends I can really work hard with. There have been times where we have been angry with each other, but since then we have grown together.”
Tomohisa and Kazuya hugged, and then performed their 2005 hit “Seishun Amigo”, while smiling at each other.
