On July 23, Snow Man will release their 12th single, “SERIOUS.” The song serves as the theme song for the film “Jiko Bukken Zoku Kowai Madori”, out July 25. This film marks group member Shota Watanabe‘s first solo starring role in a film.
“SERIOUS” is described as a mysterious R&B dance song, featuring eerie sounds and screams scattered throughout, linking the song to the theme of the film. The song’s lyrics express how “the one who attracts me” gradually dominates “you who have begun to take an interest in me,” adding to the song’s mystery.
Of his upcoming releases, Shota said, “I’m very happy that my personal work has led to a new song for the group.” He added, “It’s a unique song with lyrics written from the perspective of a ghost.”
The music video for “SERIOUS” has now been released. It features Snow Man in a house of horrors, surrounded by all kinds of ghouls and goblins. Check it out below, along with more information on their new single!
