On December 2, Nippon TV will air this year’s edition of its annual year end music special, “Best Artist.” It will be held at Nippon TV Bancho Studio in Tokyo. “Best Artist 2022” will start at 7PM JST and end at 10:54 PM JST. Sho Sakurai of Arashi will be hosting for the 15th consecutive year. Same as last year, he’ll be joined by Hatori Shinichi, Bakarhythm, and Nippon TV announcer Ichiki Rena.
The first set of performers has now been released, and it features the likes of Snow Man, King Gnu, MISIA, and Ryokuoushoku Shakai. Kep1er, JO1, and Yuuri will be making their “Best Artist” debut this year. Fukuyama Masaharu, Yuzu, and Perfume will also each performer special medleys.
