On May 3rd, Oricon News published the list of the best selling photobooks as sold by a woman in Japan from the beginning of the Reiwa period, which began in 2019. The ranking encapsulates all sales from May 13th, 2019 until January 8th, 2024.
- Tanaka Minami – Sincerely yours… (489,783 copies sold since 12/01/19)
- Nogizaka46 – Nogisatsu VOL.02 (271,817 copies sold since 12/01/19)
- Yoda Yuki – Yoda Yuki 2nd Photobook Mukuchi na Jikan (237,003 copies sold since 03/01/20)
- Yamashita Mizuki – Yamashita Mizuki 1st Photobook Wasurerarenai Hito (207,212 copies sold since 01/01/20)
- Kaki Haruka – Kaki Haruka 1st Photobook Massara (198,130 copies sold since 06/01/22)
- Hinatazaka46 – Hinatazaka46 First Photobook Tachikogi (185,823 copies sold since 08/01/19)
- Saito Asuka – Museum (176,938 copies sold since 05/01/23)
- Kosaka Nao – Kosaka Nao 1st Photobook Kimi wa Dare? (173,616 copies sold since 06/01/21)
- Hinatazaka46 – Hinasatsu VOL.01 (154,447 copies sold since 04/01/21)
- Endo Sakura – Endo Sakura 1st Photobook Karen (150,444 copies sold since 10/01/23)
The Tanaka Minami photobook is noticable as the only one that is not affiliated with the Sakamichi Group, selling over 104,000 copies in its initial week. It is also the highest sales for any photobook since the publication started its photobook category in 2008.
