Every year Oricon releases the Breakout Actor/Actress rankings to showcase new talents that will likely make an impact on the entertainment industry in the near future. The ranking results are based on surveys that were conducted nationwide. This survey combines the data that was collected in January 11 through January 22 2023.
Rihito Itagaki has jumped up 8 spots from the 2022 ranking and has now taken the top spot, followed by Kanata Hosoda and Shintaro Morimoto of SixTONES respectively.
