The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Number_i has signed with the American talent agency WME in all areas of global representation.
The trio has spent the last few years making inroads into the American music market, with several performances now under their belts
In 2024, Number_ i performed at Coachella as part of 88Rising’s Futures stage. This was their first US performance and their first major festival appearance. Last year, they performed at 88Rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival in Pasadena, California.
In an interview with the publication last year, Sho Hirano said, “We believe that music goes beyond borders, of course, and good music, good anything, can be understood and shared by people across the world. We just make good music, whatever we believe in and whatever we are happy with, and we’d like to spread that to more and more people.”
TOBE will continue to represent Number_i in Japan.
This comes on the heels of the release of their digital single “3XL” on January 29, Sho’s birthday. He also produced the love song.
