NHK Launches tiny desk concerts JAPAN

The program tiny desk concerts, which first aired in the US through the non-profit media organization NPR, has been licensed by the Japanese organization NHK. Set to be released as “tiny desk concerts JAPAN“, the regular broadcasts of the program will start May 27th. The first guest to test the waters was viral hit sensation Fujii Kaze.

On May 27th, Japanese rock band KIRINJI will take to the stage to kick off regular broadcasts focusing on Japanese artists.
