As previously announced, MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN will take place in Kyoto in on May 21 and 22 at ROHM Theatre Kyoto.
The intention behind the show is to promote Japanese music to world, while at the same time serving as an entry point for foreign artists into the Japanese market. With that, broadcasting the show internationally has been an aim from the beginning.
It has now been announced that both days will be streamed live on YouTube, while the second day will be shown on NHK.
