Mirei Hoshina Leaves Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku After Terminating Contract

Mirei Hoshina of idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku announced through her social media platforms that she has terminated her contract with Stardust Promotions and will leave the group. She was previously absent from the two-man live concert “Live Natalie Dempagumi.inc × Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku ~Hello! Welcome! Dancing Dempaebi Republic~” held on November 25.

In her farewell message she stated, “The 14 years I spent with Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku are an irreplaceable time in my life. I am filled with gratitude to all the fans, staff, and my beloved members.”

Mirei Hoshina was born on November 2, 1997 in Kanagawa Prefecture. She joined Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku in 2010 and has been active as an actress and model in addition to her idol activities. Her idol days included an unfortunate incident in which a 55 year old man posted a death threat directed towards her on social media and the said man was soon arrested. In August 2023, she launched her first apparel brand, “mILLELIz.” Currently she is set to appear in the musical “Neo Doll,” which will be showing from November 29 to December 8. As of now, her future activities have still not been revealed.
