LAPONE GIRLS has announced that four members of ME:I will be leaving the company on December 31, and in effect leaving the group as well. The members are COCORO, RAN, SHIZUKU, and KOKONA.
COCORO has been in hiatus since March of this year due to poor health. RAN went on hiatus in July due to mental exhaustion. In October, it was announced that SHIZUKU was going on hiatus due to compliance violations. Around the same time, KOKONA missed some activities due to poor health.
ME:I will now continue as a seven member group.
