In an exciting move, especially for international fans, King & Prince has announced that their music will soon be coming to streaming services worldwide!
The duo’s music will first hit streaming services on May 20. The two A-sides from their upcoming single “halfmoon / moooove!!” will be available first.
“halfmoon” serves as the theme song for Ren Nagase‘s new TV Asahi drama “Tokyo Tower.” It’s a ballad about loving someone that you shouldn’t be in love with, relating to the drama’s theme of Ren being in a relationship with a married woman that is more than 20 years older than him.
“moooove!” is described as a hip hop dance song about moving forward in your own way. Written by Ayumu Imazu, it is the theme song for Kaito Takahashi‘s new TV Tokyo drama “95.”
On May 23, King & Prince’s sixth anniversary, the full single “halfmoon / moooove!!” will be available for streaming and on CD. More information on the full single can be found below
Also on May 23, their fifth anniversary best album, last year’s “Mr.5”, will also be made available for streaming. In total, 63 songs will be available for streaming that day.
