Last month, Keita Richard Kusama of Ae! group was arrested by Tokyo Metropolitan Police on suspicion of public indecency. After a period of rest, details of Richard’s future activities have been released by STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.
In regards to the incident, he was fined ¥100,000 by Tokyo Summary Court.
After much discussion during his rest period, Richard has made the decision to leave Ae! group. He will however continue solo activities under STARTO.
The company has made Richard’s health their top priority ever since last month’s incident, and will continue to support him to the best of its ability. STARTO apologizes for the trouble this incident has caused, and asks the public to continue to support Ae! group and Richard as them embark on their separate paths.
