Japan Weekend Box Office 03/31 – 04/02

The weekend movie box office ranking from March 31st to April 2nd has been released and still dominating the top spot in its 5th week since release is “Doraemon: Nobita’s Sky Utopia” with 286,000 moviegoers and a box office revenue of 326 million yen over the weekend. Newly released films that were able to rank within the top 10 include domestic films “Nemesis” and “Touken Ranbu reimei” and Hollywood films “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” and “Orphan: First Kill.” 

 

“Nemesis” co-starring Suzu Hirose and Sho Sakurai debuted 3rd place with 162,000 moviegoers and earned 200 million yen in its first 3 days of release. The plot takes place 2 years after the events from the drama of the same name “Nemesis.”
