XG are the covergirls for the new issue of Billboard! This interview serves as an introduction to the group to mainstream Western music listeners. As was said in his recent interview with Billboard Japan, Avex CEO Katsumi Kuroiwa created XG with “with the aim of creating global hits” and hopes that the group will be “the ‘breakthrough artist’ leading a long-term effort toward helping Japanese acts ‘thrive in the mainstream music world.’”
