Starting on April 1 and continuing through March 15, 2026, NHK will release new 4K digitally remastered 1980s performances of Akina Nakamori on various streaming services under the title “Akina Nakamori Best Performance on NHK.” These videos will be available on platforms such as Warner Music Japan, her official YouTube channel, NHK Group Mall, Apple Music, and LINE MUSIC. These videos will feature performances from the programs “Let’s Go Young”, “Young Studio 101”, and “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.”
These videos will be released on the first and 15th of every month, 24 times in total, with over 100 videos released in total. In July, the second set of videos will be released on the 13th, Akina’s birthday, instead of the 15th. In addition, on May 1, the 43rd anniversary of her debut, all of Akina’s “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” performances will be released at once.
