Earlier today, Ae! group held a special livestream for their fifth anniversary! The group presented a new version of their play “Bokura Ae! group tte Iimasu nen” on Family Club Online. The play was full of laughter and song, and really gave viewers a chance to get to know the talents of this rising Kansai Jr. group.
This new production of “Bokura Ae! group tte Iimasu nen” served as an appetizer of sorts for an even bigger event for Ae! group: Kyocera Dome Osaka! On March 16 and 17, the group will hold an event “Aa Ttoteki Fan Dai Kanshasai in Kyocera Dome ~Minna Honma ni Arigatou~” at Kyocera Dome Osaka, as was announced at the close of today’s livestream. This will be Ae! group’s first solo dome event, a move that is unique for a Jr. group that has yet to make their CD debut.
Before that announcement, SUPER EIGHT‘s You Yokoyama, who produced the play and served as narrator, spoke fondly of the group that he has grown close to. In a surprise move, he also spoke of recently departed member Taisei Fukumoto. You’s messages can be read below!
Sano Masaya. I keep being amazed by your recent achievements. Your quick thinking, tough mentality, strong competitive spirit… I have said before that I look forward to see what the future holds for you. I have said that you are an extremely talented person. You have far exceeded my expectations. I cannot even imagine how you will become from now on. I am really looking forward to your future.
Kusama Richard Keita. First of all, the bass. I could feel your determination. I am sure that you will play the bass while carrying many feelings from now on. It will definitely be okay if it’s you. I know that you are a shy person. Despite that, it seems like you have been doing your best and are communicating with the staff recently. It reached my ears. I am truly proud of you. I have said before that it’s a matter of time before people start paying attention to you. These days, you are attracting attention from the public. But I know that there is still so much more you can do.
Suezawa Seiya. You are the oldest member of Ae! group. I believe that you providing an atmosphere that it is okay to tease you is what creates a very good atmosphere between the members. There is something I think of every time I watch Ae! group’s stage performance. That you really have an aura that makes you stand out. That aura is starting to shine even brighter now. It makes me think that this is what people call charisma. Please continue to captivate the fans with your performance from now on as well.
Masakado Yoshinori. About the washlet story, why don’t you talk about it on TV? I remember saying that you take a step back to support the other members. Now it is different. The way you are now, your intention to maintain everyone’s balance while also pulling and taking the lead gets across. It is amazing that you are able to bring such unique members together. It is not something just anyone can do. With you around, I am sure that it will be okay.
Kojima Ken. Five years has passed and there is one thing I think of the most. That I am really glad that you are the leader. People around you naturally start smiling. This is a natural born gift. You are soft-heartened, and so easily moved to tears and I love those very human qualities about you. Lately you have been producing the younger juniors, and your talent is blooming. You have a power to attract people to you. As long as you believe in yourself and continue moving forward, I am sure that the path will open to you.
And last, Fukumoto Taisei who was supposed to be here. I am truly frustrated and sad that you aren’t here with us. These are everyone’s honest feelings. What you should do now, your way to pay back, is to become such a big person that it will make the other five frustrated. This is not an easy task. But you will be okay. Because you are someone who have been fighting in the entertainment industry and as a member of Ae! group. You definitely should be able to shine wherever you go. I, no, everyone believes so.
