On April 17, Shiina Ringo will release her new digital single, “Ningen Toshite.” The song serves as the theme song for the TV Asahi drama “Destiny.”
This drama is Ishihara Satomi‘s first drama role in three years, during which time she took time off to become a mother. This fact really excited Ringo, as did the fact that the drama is based on the legal system, something that Ringo is fond of. She also revealed that the first demo of the song was presented on Christmas Eve last year, Satomi’s birthday.
Ringo has now released the music video for “Ningen Toshite.” It was directed by Kodama Yuichi, Ringo’s partner in creativity and love. The video has a grace and elegant ballet concept. Check it out below!
