The first visual teaser for the upcoming film “Yoru ga Aketara, Ichibian ni Kimi ni Ai ni Iku” (eng title: When the Dawn Breaks, I’ll Be the First to See You) starring JO1’s Ruki Shiroiwa and Rinka Kumada has been revealed. Based on the novel of the same name by Natsue Shiomi, it is described as a 100% pure and colorful love story between honor student Niwa Akane (Kumada), who can’t seem to come out of her shell at school, and Fukagawa Sheiji (Shiraiwa), a silver-haired, freewheeling artist. The movie version will be directed by Mai Sakai of “My Beautiful Man: Eternal.”
In the visual that has been released, the slogan “In this colorless and suffocating world, you were the one who saved me.” can be seen along with the two main characters looking in different directions against the sky.
“Yoru ga Aketara, Ichibian ni Kimi ni Ai ni Iku” will be released in theaters in Japan on September 1st.
