IRC 2026 Sept 2026

IDOL RUNWAY COLLECTION 2026 A/W Heads to Yokohama Arena

Hinatazaka46, FRUITS ZIPPER, CANDY TUNE, and ≒JOY Revealed as the Star-Studded First Wave of Performers! “IRC 2026 A/W” Confirmed for Sunday, September 20 at Yokohama Arena

IDOL RUNWAY COLLECTION (IRC), the “new era girls’ event” held in cooperation with TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION (TGC), will be held twice a year for the first time. “The 4th IDOL RUNWAY COLLECTION 2026 AUTUMN/WINTER Supported by TGC” (IRC 2026 A/W) will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Yokohama Arena.

IRC 2026 Sept 2026

In addition to live performances by a spectacular lineup of performers, the event will feature a “Special Fashion Stage” by popular idols, available only at IRC. Look forward to this one-of-a-kind special stage, unique to IRC, where idol culture and fashion converge.

As with the previous edition, this event is organized by YOAKE entertainment Co., Ltd. (“YOAKE entertainment”), a joint venture established by ASOBISYSTEM Co., Ltd., TWIN PLANET Co., Ltd., W TOKYO Inc., and Y&N Brothers Co., Ltd. While carefully carrying on the appeal that IRC has built to date, YOAKE entertainment brings together the expertise cultivated by each of its founding companies to further evolve the one-of-a-kind worldview woven by idols and fashion.

New Event Vision: “GO GLOBAL”

Idols in the spotlight and fans filling the venue with excitement—where they all come together is a truly unique experience: Japan’s “oshi-katsu” (fan support) culture. To share this experience with the world from the runway, IRC now adopts a new event vision: “GO GLOBAL.”

As a platform for sharing Japanese idol culture with the world, and guided by the “GO GLOBAL” vision, IRC will continue to create new excitement and emotion.

“From This Runway, to the World.” — Each Journey of “GROWTH” Begins

Now marking its fourth edition, IRC has grown into one of Japan’s largest events fusing idols and fashion, walking this path together with its performers and many fans.

To take flight onto the world stage, everyone involved in IRC must keep growing. With that conviction, the theme of IRC 2026 A/W is “GROWTH.”

Idols taking on looks never seen before on the runway. Performances on stage that move people’s hearts. And everyone—from the fans gathered at the venue to viewers watching from beyond the screen—sharing in a single wave of excitement.

The new forms of expression born at IRC become the “buds” of new possibilities for idols to explore, while the energy that fills the venue leads to a “harvest” that deepens the bond between fans and their oshi. Each of these experiences accumulates, and each harvest is passed on to new buds. As performers, fans, and IRC itself continue to grow, these experiences connect them to an ever-greater future.

Built on the experience and achievements cultivated to date, IRC will serve as the place where the “GROWTH” of performers, fans, and everyone involved begins—creating new challenges and possibilities while sharing the future of Japanese idol culture with audiences in Japan and around the world.

A Spectacular Lineup for the Live Stage & Fashion Stage!

Hinatazaka46, FRUITS ZIPPER, CANDY TUNE, and ≒JOY are confirmed to appear on both the live stage and the fashion stage of IRC 2026 A/W, bringing dazzling energy to the venue!

Hinatazaka46

Performing members are subject to change without notice. Thank you for your understanding.

On February 11, 2019, the group announced its renaming as Hinatazaka46, beginning a new chapter that would lead to the release of its debut single. In September 2024, the group held “Hinata Fes 2024” in Miyazaki Prefecture, drawing approximately 40,000 attendees over two days; through active regional collaboration and SDGs initiatives, the event generated an economic ripple effect of 4.33 billion yen across Kyushu.

In April 2026, the group performed at Yokohama Stadium for the fourth consecutive year. On May 20, they released their 17th single, “Kind of love,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking—their 17th consecutive single to top the chart. On September 5–6, “Hinata Fes” is set to return to Miyazaki Prefecture for the first time in two years, drawing great anticipation from both within and beyond the prefecture.

FRUITS ZIPPER

FRUITS ZIPPER is a seven-member idol group—Amane Tsukiashi, Suzuka Chinzei, Yui Sakurai, Luna Nakagawa, Mana Manaka, Karen Matsumoto, and Noel Hayase—that debuted in April 2022 from “KAWAII LAB.,” ASOBISYSTEM’s idol project.

Under the concept “From Harajuku to the world,” the group shares “NEW KAWAII” from Harajuku, a hub of diverse cultures and a town where individuality gathers. Their second single, “Watashino Ichiban Kawaiitokoro” (“The Cutest Part of Me”), drew widespread attention on TikTok, particularly among Gen Z, amassing approximately 3 billion views on the platform, with its music video surpassing 64 million views.

In 2025, the group made its first appearance at the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. In February 2026, they held their largest-ever concert at Tokyo Dome.

CANDY TUNE

CANDY TUNE is a seven-member idol group consisting of Mizuki Kirihara, Rino Fukuyama, Nanako Ogawa, Natsu Minami, Kotomi Tachibana, Shizuka Miyano, and Bibian Murakawa. The group debuted on March 14, 2023, as part of “KAWAII LAB.,” ASOBISYSTEM’s new project to share idol culture with the world.

The group’s name carries the hope that—just like candy, which comes in all kinds of flavours and shapes—these uniquely individual members, each with different tastes and personalities, will come together to play their own pop “TUNE.” In 2025, the group made its first appearance at the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

≒JOY

Yuka Murayama will not appear at this event due to scheduling conflicts.

≒JOY (pronounced “Nearly Equal Joy”) is an idol group produced by Rino Sashihara. The group’s name embodies her wish that “when the members and the fans who support them come together, everyone will feel joy and happiness.” On January 17, 2024, the group made its major debut under Sony Music with the debut mini album “Kitto, Zettai, Zettai” (“Surely, Absolutely, Absolutely”).

Discover Your “Oshi-katsu” Style with the New “Oshi-katsu Type Quiz”

A new feature, the “Oshi-katsu Type Quiz,” which lets you discover your own oshi-katsu (fan support) style, is now available on the IRC official service “IRC APP.”

Even though the feeling of “loving your oshi” is the same, the way each person shows support is different. By answering 14 questions, you will be matched with one of 16 types reflecting your unique oshi-katsu style. The quiz analyzes your oshi-katsu from four axes—behavior, values, emotions, and sense of distance—and expresses the result as a four-letter code. Each type comes with an original character and catchphrase so that you can enjoy your oshi-katsu style visually as well.

A key feature is that anyone who engages in oshi-katsu can enjoy the quiz, regardless of what genre their oshi belongs to. Results can be shared directly on social media, and as fans share their types, new opportunities for communication are born. In addition, exclusively for service members, a “compatibility diagnosis” is also available, identifying your most compatible types from three perspectives: “your ultimate partner on social media,” “the person you’d want next to you at a fan meetup,” and “the one you’ll never be able to get away from.”

The new “Oshi-katsu Type Quiz” offers a different way to enjoy oshi-katsu beyond live shows and events. Take this opportunity to discover your own oshi-katsu style.
