On October 29, Kento Nakajima will release his second single, “IDOLIC.” The titled is a a portmanteau of “IDOL” and “HOLIC.” The song shows Kento’s determination to “carry on the life he’s lived as an idol until now, and evolve into something more than an idol.” “IDOLIC” also aims to “transcend the world of fantasy and be captivated by Kento’s poisonous charm.”
The music video for “IDOLIC” was recently released. It features an elegant dance performance that showcases Kento’s updated take on the world “sexy,” a word that has been important to him since his time his former group, Sexy Zone. Upon the release of the music video, he said, “It’s not a tie-up. This song is the theme song for my life as Kento Nakajima. I’ve taken the word “sexy,” which has always been my ally, and evolved it into the lyrics “Hyper Sexy,” which fully express my identity.”
