LAPONE Suspends Activities of JO1’s Shosei Ohira & ME:I’s SHIZUKU

LAPONE simultaneously announced the suspension of activities of both JO1‘s Shosei Ohira and ME:I‘s SHIZUKU. The statements released for both suspensions were very similar, with the same reason given for both: an incident that resulted in the violation of company rules.

The company said that both Shosei and SHIZUKU were involved in a “serious act that goes against the expectations of our fans”, and urged the two to reflect deeply on their actions.

LAPONE apologized for the shortcomings in its management system and response, and said that the company would once again thoroughly educate all talents on their company’s regulations.

The incident that caused the suspensions was not revealed, nor how long the suspensions would last.
