Oricon Releases Its 2025 Mid-Year Charts

We are now at the midpoint of 2025, meaning that mid-year charts are here! Oricon has released its charts for the first half of 2025! This chart covers the period from 12/9/24 to 6/8/25.

Snow Man is the top combined revenue artist of 2025 so far, topping this chart for the fourth time since their 2020 debut, and for the second consecutive year.

They are also the top physical revenue artist of the year so far, for the second consecutive year.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE is the top digital revenue artist of 2025 so far, topping this chart for the second consecutive year.

HANA is the top newcomer revenue act.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE topped the Combined Single chart with their digital single “Lilac” with 970,816 points. This is the first time a digital only release has topped this chart. They also took the #2 spot on the chart, a first.

Snow Man topped the Combined Album chart with their best album “THE BEST 2020 – 2025” with 1,696,875 points. It’s the only release this year to cross the one million mark.

Nogizaka46 topped the Single chart their single “Navel Orange” with 539,153 copies sold. They also took the #2 spot on the chart, the first time this has happened since AKB48 did it in 2017.

“THE BEST 2020 – 2025” also topped the Album chart with 1,563,617 copies sold. It’s the first release of the Reiwa era to pass 1.5 million copies sold.

Yonezu Kenshi topped the Digital Single chart with his song “Plazma” with 149,271 copies sold. He previously topped this chart in 2018 and 2019, and is now the first person to top it three times.

Number_i topped the Digital Album chart with their mini album “GOD_i” with 32,541 copies sold. This is the second consecutive year that the trio has topped this chart, making them the first act to ever top it twice.

“Lilac” also topped the Streaming chart with 276,575,948 streams.
