Winners for “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025” 2nd Day Announced

Earlier today, the second day of “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025”, MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025 Grand Ceremony, was held at ROHM Theatre Kyoto.

During this part of the show, the primary awards of the show, along with a few secondary ones, were handed out.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE was awarded Artist of the Year. Song of the Year wen to Creepy Nuts‘ “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born.” Fujii Kaze‘s “LOVE ALL SERVE ALL” was awarded Album of the Year. tuki. won New Artist of the Year. The Top Global Hit From Japan award went to YOASOBI‘s “Idol.” aespa‘s Supernova won Best Song Asia.

The show’s opening number, “RYDEEN REBOOT”, was created in homage to Yellow Magic Orchestra’s “RYDEEN.” The band was named “SYMBOL OF MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025.” Surviving member Hosono Haruomi opened the segment with a speech, before the video began. “RYDEEN REBOOT” featured Perfume, Sunahara Yoshinori, STUTS, Chanmina, Number_i, Vaundy, Hatsune Miku, Sumino Hayato, Chiba Yuki, Hosokawa Takashi, Yamaguchi Ichiro of Sakanaction, FRUITS ZIPPER, CUTIE STREET, 10-FEET, Atarashii Gakko no Leaders, YUKI, and Okamura Yasuyuki putting their own spin on the song.
