On July 6, this year’s edition of Nippon TV’s midyear music special, “THE MUSIC DAY 2024”, will air from 3 PM to 10:54 PM JST. Sho Sakurai will serve as the show’s host for the 12th consecutive year. He will be joined by NTV announcers Hatori Shinichi and Miura Asami, as well as Bakarhythm, to assist in his hosting duties. Another of the channel’s announcers, Ichiki Rena, will be in charge of the “Next Gate.”
The show will feature performances by the likes of Snow Man, XG, Number_i, MISIA, Nogizka46, JO1, GLAY, Atarashii Gakko no Leaders, NOA, and &TEAM. There will also be talk segments with Billie Eilish and YOASOBI.
